1- BACKGROUND
Cameroon Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (CAMFAAS) is a National body that brings together actors from government, NGO and private sectors that are engaged in Agricultural Extension and Advisory Services (AEAS) throughout Cameroon under one umbrella. CAMFAAS’ goal is to enhance utilization of improved knowledge and innovations by agricultural value chain actors for improving
productivity, oriented towards their individual and national development objectives. CAMFAAS desires to ensure enhanced competency of AEAS providers to enable them to better address the increasing needs and demands of various value chain actors.
Among its strategies, CAMFAAS and its networks as established technical working groups (TWG) on
various topics including, climate change with focus on smart agriculture, gender, PHM, ICT for RAS and Resource Mobilization (RM). This latter comes as a cut across component aiming to look for funding to improve achievements of all TWGs and the CF in general. However, members of this RM TWG need relevant skills and techniques to be able to mobilize funds from donors including those with difficult frame.

2- OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT
In general view, this call aims to provide adequate technical support to CAMFAAS Resource Mobilization
Technical Working Group (RM TWG) present and potential members. Specifically, activities should
include:
 Assessing the needs of the RM TWG and identify relevant topics for such a young organization
willing to target donors of different categories
 Prepare presentations and facilitate trainings
 Organize practical including action plan for concrete actions with participants
 Coach RM TWG in fund raining field activities and pitching
 Assist RM TWG in online funds raising approach

3- TARGETS
 Training participants will include members of RM TWG and other members of the Country Forum
(CF) who could latter join the group. Therefore, a total of around twenty-five participants ofseveral background could be expected.
 Potential donors to target during field practical should come from various domains (Public,Councils, Private, NGOs and corporate.

4- METHODOLOGY OF FORMATION AND WORK
The assignment should cover a total of 2.5 days.
Consultant should organize the technical support services in three phases.
 One online training including practical case studies (half day);
 One face to face training especially for practical and preparation to field activities (half day)
 Field coaching activity to pitch with potential donors and apply for funding (one day)
CAMFAAS will be responsible logistic and accommodation for participants during face to face meeting, while consultant will prepare all topics and related exercises. Before implementation, selectedconsultant will submit a work plan with facilitation details to CF team in charge of the activity forappreciation.
Photocopy of potential supporting documents for the training will be done by CF secretariat.
Training report and field activity report especially for tentative fund raising will be done by
facilitator/consultant.

5- DELIVERABLES
 Training modules / presentations and all supports are sent to CF team 3 days before trainings;
 Practical exercises and case study are presented to CF team two days before trainings;
 List of targeted organization to be visited during fund raining coaching activities;
 Training report;
 Field coaching report and perspectives.

6- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE MEMBER
The consultant is expected to have the following set of competencies and academic qualifications which will form the basis for selection of the consultant:
 A university degree in Agricultural discipline (Economics, Agribusiness, Extension, Rural Development), Business administration or development related field with at least 10
years of professional
 Experience in the field of fund raising,
 Working with an International organization often funding other organization could be an asset
 Fluent in writing and speaking French and English;
 Excellent writing and documentation skills, proven skills on conducting virtual training
and information sharing sessions.
 Women application are encouraged

Note: Selection will stand on the technical evidence and financial capability of CAMFAAS to achieve candidate’s expectation.

Only selected candidate will be contacted. This should take place no later than five days after application deadline. Successful candidate will remain engaged with her/his offer for three months after proceedings.
